Brick rebound hammer is the equipment that one spring drives the impact hammer andimpacts the resilience of transient elastic deformation produced on the surface of sinteredcommon brick masonry or sintered porous brick masonry middle brick, so that thehammer drives the pointer to rebound and points the rebound distance. The reboundvalue is used as one of indexes of compressive strength of sintered common brickmasonry or sintered porous brick masonry middle brick to deduce the compressivestrength label of the brick.

Because of the advantages in light weight, flexibility, low price, easiness to operate, non-damage, wide detection surface, convenient and rapid test, the concrete test hammer is widely used in practical engineering detection.

Also called Softening Point Apparatus. This apparatus is meant for determination of softening point of bituminous materials according to IP 58 and IS 1205 Softening point is that temp. at which the specimen under test becomes soft enough to allow a steel ball of specific dimension to fall a required distance under test condition. The apparatus consist of Glass beaker of heat resistant glass of internal dia 8.5 cm X 12 cm depth (approx.), Two steel balls each of 9.5mm dia, Two tapered brass rings, Two ball guides, ring stand and a hand stirrer.  Penetrometer Apparatus

Penetration test on a wide variety of materials such as grease, Petroleum, Bitumen, Tar, Wax, Polish, food stuff, Rubber asphalts and pharmaceuticals Creams.

Main Components:

• Two samples containers made of aluminum

Operation:

• A given force is applied over a given salutation of a millimeter size and expressed as penetration.
• The penetration is the distance in millimeter that a standard needle penetrates vertically into a sample of the material under fixed conditions of loading time and temperature.
• Needle tip takes sample of it and incorporates a slipping clutch mechanism which makes reading of penetration possible.
• Resetting of a sample and accurate operation.
• The dial is graduated from 0-400 in on tenth millimeter sub division.
• Instrument measures the reading on round dial fitted on an aluminum painted stand having adjustable penetration needle, holder sample container and transfer dish.
